Chief Minister Parsekar has a foot on both sides when he argues that he is neither pushing the Tiracol golf course or the Marinas. This is his own backyard and his attempt to duck the truth by leaning on technicalities and bureaucratic machinations will not hold water amongst the local people who have been cheated by big business and betrayed by government.
Clearly the government is unwilling to take tough positions .
