Private shack owners for separate policy

It is very good if the government is looking to give the private shack owners a long term policy and clearances. However these private shacks also need to take responsibility of garbage and the surrounding beach the department must mandate such clauses in the policy .

So very convenient for Nilesh Cabral to say that ‘central notification on commercial ops awaited’ and get away with things. All his pipe dream projects of which he himself has no clue about but made huge hue and cry with grand inauguration etc at tax payers costs are gathering dust for the last 2 years

Why do many among us Goans think that we are holier than thou and that all drug trade is carried out only by outsiders ? This is an official record of the no of Goans involved in the trade and if this is the official figure then one can only guess the unofficial apprehended ones that go scot free either due to political patronage.Drug trade cannot exist without local political patronage and all those who get caught are the pawns in the game.

Shacks, stalls in Calangute to get uniform look

Why do tourists visit shacks? is it not also for its uniqueness in design and creativity? why is the Calangute Panchayat trying to standardize these shacks. As long as the shacks adhere to the given dimensions the rest should be for the hack owners to decide. Or is this another way to harass them and extract money.
