Times of India has admitted to launching a campaign against Goan taxi owners and drivers . In the last fortnight or so they have collected articles and views from a range of seemingly uninformed and prejudiced group of writers. obviously none of them has sat across the table with a taxi driver. Nor have they talked to ” the real tourist ” who has returned to Goa for ten years or more longing to be served by the same taxi driver. Most taxi drivers and their regular clients are no more just a taxi driver – customer relationship.
