Locals , Goans to get preference but GMR free to

Yet another U turn…. all empty words when the projects is in approval stage and a completely new line when the projects are approved.

How can anyone accept the governments word that they will give jobs to the locals? It is in the hands of the company that gets the contract to hire and fire and not the hand of the government.

Both Parsekar and Parrikar have cheated the people with empty promises

Alina needs to look a bit more closely at the steps she intends to take to restore the Keserval spring. Yes the industrial pollution needs to be checked , she also needs to check the number of bore wells that have been illegally sunk in that depletes the water levels in the spring

Valpoi getting greener and richer

This concept must be supported and promoted by the tourism department. Instead of pouring money in helicopter rides, rope ways etc, money should be put into training and making alternatives to beaches viable.
The locals in these areas also need to be sensitized about the effects of tourism and what mass tourism to our hinterlands could do to our environment and ecosystems.
