Lucky 7 seems to be in the news literally everyday for all the wrong reasons. We thought we had seen it off for a while for repairs. Today we are told that it will be in the Goa waters for another week.

EDM organizers asked to limit ticket sales

Is having such EDM’s even safe? The police are trying to put safety measures in place . Making it a no smoke zone to eliminate drugs, CCTV cameras to monitor sale of alcohol to minors and the number of tickets to be sold etc. However, despite all these measure such a large magnitude of people gathered definitely makes it next to impossible to manage

Cabral to seek relaxation for boat operators to islands off Baina coast

Cabral is yet again meddling in areas that he has no clue about. This time it is with the COP granting permission to boat operators to ferry tourists to islands off Baina coast.
 
Cabral should first visit these islands and see the environmental damage that exists on these islands due to the lack of proper garbage disposal .
 
Its not just about issuing permissions and allowing these operators to make a quick buck. what about their responsibility. Or very soon those islands will be garbage dumps

Casino promoter to bear cost of EIA study

We had heard that the court had asked for a one crore deposit from the owners of lucky 7. Whether they deposited or not no one knows. Its not just that the company needs to pay for the EIA study, we all have some idea what the EIA report will throw up. what happens after the EIA report is on is to be seen
