CRT conducted sensitization session on Child abuse in tourism for the water sports operators in Candolim and Sinquerim on 15th November 2016. Around 80 operators attended the sessions
Water sports operators on the beach can help identify and report any form of child abuse on the beach. Their presence on the beach enables them to be watchdogs and report any abuse to children on the beach.
The operators were made aware of how to identify abuses and what they could do if they came across cases of child abuse on the beaches.
