We have heard this announcement before – in fact way back in 2008. The solution to crime on the beach lies not in surveillance of the beaches. It must be on the mafia (including politicians who support them or turn a blind eye to the mafias). Crime on the beach is an open secret. The tourism department probably knows who is involved. The cops know. The political class knows.All this is just to hoodwink the public and to get people believing that crime is being tackled. Ask the people before handing out a contract to yet another corporate! This is a scam – no good intent in it.
