The worries and apprehensions of the locals are valid. It is their lively hood that is in question due to the training wall that the fisheries department is putting up.
Just because they are departments of the government does not mean they can destroy the beach and the natural  habitat When such sensitive contracts are handed out, the contractor must be made to sign a bond that he will restore the beach to its normal before final payments are done.
